Matthew Retera-Robinson (he/they) - a Commerce student at the DeGroote School of Business, specializing in Marketing and Data Analytics. He is the co-founder of the DeGroote Pride Association, dedicated to fostering inclusive spaces for 2SLGBTQIA+ students, and contributes to Start Proud as a speaker manager, connecting students with industry leaders. With professional experience at PepsiCo and Geotab, Matthew combines skills in analytics and marketing to support client relationships, partner engagement, and innovative go-to-market strategies.
Lindsay Swanson (She/Her) - Lindsay is the Canadian leader for ESG and Supplier Diversity & Inclusion for EY. Lindsay holds a Master’s in Economics, and has had a 20 year career in Professional Practice - 9 of which has been within EY - spanning Strategy, Operations, Marketing and Business Development. In addition to her role at EY, Lindsay is also the Chair for EY Unity, EY's LGBTQIA+ business and employee network in Toronto. Lindsay is passionate about building relationships and making lasting connections, while helping organizations broaden diversity throughout the business. On the weekends you can find Lindsay in one of 3 places: on the shores of Georgian Bay at her cottage with her family, enjoying live music with her spouse at one of Toronto’s finest dive bars, or DIY-renovating her 125 year old house.
Sabrina Ng (She/Her) - Sabrina is the AVP, Head of BusinessBanking, Analytics Insights and AI (AI2) at TD Bank. Since joining TD inJanuary 2022, she leads a team of data scientists and AI practitioners inaddressing analytical needs from our CBB business partners. She also providesthe strategic oversight on delivery excellence and establishes foundationalbest practices of how we should operate within BB AI2. Sabrina has a vast background in data andanalytics through progressive roles at Scotia, BMO, RBC, Aviva for 25+ years.
Roz Macey (She/They) - Roz Macey holds an HBA from Queen’s University, the AIMA designation from the Institute of Municipal Assessors, and a Change Management certification from PROSCI. Specializing in farm valuation, Roz focuses on rural property assessment, interpreting provincial legislation, and preparing evidence for tribunals in Ontario. As co-lead of MPAC’s Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism Champion Team, Roz founded Blaze! — MPAC’s first unofficial ERG advocating for 2SLGBTQIA+ visibility in the assessment industry. A passionate advocate, Roz serves as Co-Chair of Ontario’s 2SLGBTQIA+ PaWC Ambassador Program, advises organizations on inclusion, and speaks on topics like workplace intersectionality, housing barriers, and inclusive policy, openly sharing their Queer, non-binary, AuDHD identity alongside their service dog, Rookie.
Fidel Romero (He/Him) - Fidel Romero is the Lead of New Talent Programs at Interac, passionate about creating impactful early-career experiences that empower emerging professionals. He also co-chairs the Asian and Pacific Islander Employee Resource Group, promoting community, cultural celebration, and inclusion. With over 8 years of diverse experience in tech, media, marketing, and mental health, Fidel takes a human-centered approach to his work. Outside of the office, he enjoys streaming games on Twitch and creating content on TikTok.
Ryan Baker (He/Him) - Ryan Baker (he/him/his) is the Director of Talent (Student Programs) at Dentons Canada LLP, overseeing the Toronto Student Program and guiding national student initiatives and Pro Bono efforts. With a strong focus on career development, Ryan is dedicated to fostering inclusive environments where lawyers and students can thrive authentically. His prior experience includes managing talent programs at a boutique law firm across Ontario and Quebec, as well as roles in HR and legal practice at a national law firm and legal recruitment agency.
