The panel features:

Gil Segev (He/Him) - Gil Segev (he/him) is an Israeli Canadian artist and Queen's Law 3L student whose work bridges art and community engagement. Drawing on his Jewish and queer identities, Gil is best known for his drag persona, Gila Munster (she/her), through which he has popularized “Drag Queen Story Time” across the province and created “The 8 Gays of Channukah,” Canada’s largest annual queer Jewish event. Through drag, Gilcreates original music and multidisciplinary projects that celebrate culture, challenge norms, and build connections across difference. Gil is the recipient of the 2023 Mayworks Festival “Creative Maverick Award,” the 2025 Canadian Choice “Award for Entertainment Services,” and the 2025 PRISME Conference “Student Leadership in 2SLGBTQIA+ Rights Award.” He is currently serving as the vice-president of Queen's OutLaw, and working on finishing his JD studies and first album.

Lindsay Humeniuk (She/Her) - Lindsay Humeniuk is entering her fifth year in the Integrated Business & Humanities program at McMaster University. Passionate about creating inclusive and accessible queer spaces, she founded the DeGroote Pride Association in January 2024 after being inspired by a queer business event. During her internship at SC Johnson, Lindsay identified the lack of a queer community and took the initiative to help launch the company's first Canadian chapter of its global 2SLGBTQIA+ ERG, Ignite, in 2025. Originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Lindsay was one of the few openly queer individuals in her high school and hometown. Now, with her efforts leading to the DeGroote Pride Association being named Club of the Year and SC Johnson hosting its first Ignite event, she’s proud to have built communities that support others.

Aaron Yau (He/Him) - Aaron Yau is a student at the Ivey Business School. He spent the past two summers at PwC, focusing on technology clients. He has also held analyst roles at IBM and RBC, where he worked on digital transformation initiatives. Outside of academics and work, he volunteers as President of the Ivey Pride Club and serves as an Associate on the Partnerships team at Start Proud.
