Rachel leads Deloitte Canada’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) client services practice and is also a leader in Deloitte’s People Risk practice. Rachel specializes in helping her clients drive equitable outcomes, identify and manage workplace culture risks, and comply with employment equity and accessibility regulations. Rachel was named one of 15 Global Emerging Leaders in 2020 by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) for her leadership assessing culture, diversity, equity and inclusion programs, and other people processes/risks. Rachel is a Certified Professional in Accessibility (CPAAC) and has a Certificate in GBA+.
Rachel is an active member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and leads Deloitte’s National Pride Employee Resource Group (ERG). In this role, Rachel works to support Deloitte’s commitment to building and strengthening an inclusive culture where the 2SLGBTQIA+ community feels involved, respected, and valued.
Rachel holds the following professional designations: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and Certified SAFe 4 Scrum Master (SSM). Rachel also holds certifications in Workplace Investigations (HRPA), Corporate Social Responsibility (Queens University), active designation with the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP).
