Start Proud aims to connect 2SLGBTQIA+ students with employers, while promoting the development of 2SLGBTQIA+ professionals, and celebrating the achievements and service of those in the community.

About the Role:
The Digital Campaign Manager reports directly to the Director of Marketing and works closely with initiative leads and functional teams to plan and execute Start Proud’s digital campaigns. In this role, you will oversee the creation, scheduling, and delivery of content across our primary digital channels - Instagram, LinkedIn, and email - ensuring campaigns are consistent with Start Proud’s brand and help engage our community.
You will act as the hub for campaign coordination, translating organizational goals into digital campaigns that drive awareness, registrations, sponsorship visibility, and community engagement.
In this role you will:
- Plan Campaigns: Collaborate with initiative leads (e.g., OOBS, Leaders to be Proud Of, Industry Nights) to design campaign calendars aligned with event timelines and organizational goals.
- Manage Content Delivery: Coordinate the creation and scheduling of content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and email campaigns using Start Proud’s approved platforms (e.g., Canva, Ortto, or Mailchimp).
- Facilitate Cross-Functional Input: Work with Marketing, Corporate Relations, and Logistics teams to ensure content reflects partner commitments, event details, and key messages.
- Monitor Performance: Track engagement metrics across platforms and provide insights to optimize campaigns and guide future strategy.
- Ensure Consistency: Maintain a cohesive brand voice and visual identity across all digital channels.
- Support Innovation: Recommend new campaign tactics, emerging trends, and tools that could enhance Start Proud’s digital presence.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Digital Marketing Experience: Previous involvement with social media, email marketing, or campaign planning for a nonprofit, student group, or professional organization.
- Content Management Skills: Familiarity with scheduling tools and campaign platforms (e.g., Instagram Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Ortto, or Mailchimp).
- Strong Communication: Ability to translate organizational priorities into engaging digital content.
- Organized and Reliable: Capable of managing multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfort reviewing campaign data and providing actionable insights.
- Creative Eye: Interest in compelling storytelling, visuals, and messaging.
Commitment
- ~5-15 hours per month
- Mandatory attendance at team team meetings
