Lela is a Senior Information Security Specialist at TD Bank in Toronto, Canada. Prior to transitioning into the world of tech, Lela worked for European and U.S. non-profit organizations that focused on conflict resolution and development. She is constantly finding ways to incorporate lessons from her previous career into her current work and loves educating people and organizations on how technology works and how to keep data safe. Currently, she is specializing in AI and Robotic Process Automation cybersecurity. When not thinking about technology, you can find her playing pickleball with her gay elders in the neighborhood or watching queer content with her dog on her lap.
