Jen McMillen
she/her/hers

Jen McMillen (she/her), Vice-Provost, Students, joined Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) in 2019, and has been dedicated to student development, engagement and success for more than 25 years. Passionate about diversity, leadership, trust, team building, communication and civic responsibility, she consults on these issues frequently and believes strongly that students deserve every opportunity to access higher education, to tackle the issues that matter most to them, and to realize their full potential. Prior to TMU, Jen was Dean of Students at Humber College where she oversaw a range of student success and engagement departments. She was also the Chair of the Student Affairs group within Colleges Ontario, as well as a founding member of the Positive Space Committee at Brock University, where she served as a human rights and equity officer. Jen has also worked in various progressive capacities at the University of Toronto, McMaster University, Brock University, Western University, and the University of Guelph. She holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from McMaster University, and a Master of Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto.
